We stand behind our product. If you are not satisfied with your TrueStamp subscription, we offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of your initial subscription payment. If you cancel within this window, you are eligible for a full refund of your first payment.
After the 7-day window, subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis. You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, but payments already made are non-refundable unless there is a service disruption or billing error on our end.
You can also manage your subscription, update your payment method, and cancel directly through the billing portal in your dashboard under Settings → Billing → Manage Billing.
Approved refunds are processed through our payment provider, Polar.sh. Once a refund is issued, you will receive an email confirmation. The refunded amount typically appears on your credit card statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Processing fees charged by the payment network are non-refundable. If you received a partial refund, the refunded amount represents the net subscription cost minus any prior refunds and excludes tax (which is refunded automatically on a prorated basis).
If a subscription renewal payment fails (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds), our system will automatically retry the payment a few times over several days. During this grace period, your Pro features remain active.
To update your payment method and prevent service interruption, go to Settings → Billing → Manage Billing and update your card on file in the Polar customer portal. If the payment continues to fail after the retry period, your subscription will be downgraded to the free Starter plan.
If you have any questions about our refund policy or need help with a refund request, please contact us at support@gettruestamp.com. We typically respond within 1-2 business days.
